While belief is important, there’s an under-discussed key to manifesting that is just as important: action. More importantly, How and when to take action when manifesting and how to manifest through action with the law of assumption.
And in this post, I’ll break down how to take action with a simple principle:
- It dosen’t matter what you do: What matters is the emotional state and beliefs you make decisions from.
Taking Action When Manifesting Is An Under-discusssed Topic.
This post will help you identify what actions to take and what mindset will help you manifest through action.
It takes the principle of manifestation and grounds it into an actual habit, practice, and lifestyle—not just something you do once every quarter when you feel abnormally stuck but a mindset you can apply to everyday life.
Of course, just like any teachings regarding manifestation, this is just a tool. I’m not the one manifesting your dream life; you are. So feel free to adapt, disregard or flesh out any of the teachings in this post.
You are the one in power, not this method.
But this method helped me, and I sincerely hope it helps others, too.
Resistance To Action – Does Action Feel Wrong To You?
Suppose the thought of taking action toward your desired life feels discouraging, disempowering, or stressful for you. In that case, this section is for you.
Unknowingly, this is what I felt in the past.
The reason was that I believed that I had to move against myself to achieve my goals.
For example, if I wanted my dream career, I had to punish myself by working tirelessly in ways that felt wrong and like entrapment – when all I wanted was freedom and passion for what I did.
I was always sensitive and feared I’d have to harden, become more extroverted, and discipline myself into a rigid hustle routine to get what I wanted. I was a square, having to cut my edges off to fit inside a round hole.
Any movement felt like self-abandonment and betrayal.
And I was stuck because, in my world, the question was: ‘Would you rather lose a foot or hand?’
I realize now that this mindset was the opposite of true.
And for anyone who feels like I did, I want this to bring you a sense of relief.
You can have what you want and still have yourself.
How? This is where the signature method comes in – it’s something I’ve named myself. Still, it’s inspired by all the lovely people I’ve had the fortune of following during my adolescence.
And now, I wish to share it with you.

The Signature Method
I bet you’ve heard that to manifest, you must become emotionally aligned to the wish fulfilled (to feel as though you already have it).
Well, that’s how action works, as well.
To manifest through action is to be guided by the emotional signature of your wish fulfilled. What does this mean?
It means that once you’ve identified the emotional signature of your wish fulfilled (pride, love, connection, freedom, joy, etc.) – your job is to commit to following that signature in your everyday decisions.
Meaning: If you desire abundance – and having abundance feels like ‘freedom’ to you – then the signature method means that you need to seek activities, people, places, things, thoughts, etc, that spark freedom in you.
In the specific example above, it means two things:
- If you associate financial abundance with freedom, you must pursue financial wealth in a way that feels liberating (i.e., choosing a career that has you feeling trapped would be an energetic contradiction to your wish fulfilled [more on this below]).
- You must also pursue freedom in things unrelated to your finances (free will and autonomy, expressing yourself freely, freedom of changing your life circumstances, etc).
This principle seems simple, because it is.
But let me tell you from experience – it takes a great deal of effort to decondition the beliefs society has instilled in us from birth, that makes following joy seem counterproductive:
- I have to work a job I hate to make money.
- I have to sacrifice my needs to stay connected to a partner.
- I have to market in ways that don’t feel good to me to succeed in my business (I have to trick people through marketing to help them)
- I should, I have to, I must…
These are all what I like to call energetic contradictions. Deconditioning these beliefs one by one as you learn the signature method is half the battle.
The rest of the battle is:
- There’s a reason you’re manifesting your current circumstance. Making decisions in alignment with your desired life instead of your current one will surface many limiting beliefs, wounds, resistance, and aha moments. Ignoring your beliefs and resistance will be impossible if you learn this method. They will be so obnoxious that you’ll either give up on your manifestation or work to heal them.
- You will find that you will not just manifest milestones (like a car, graduation, or a new career). This manifestation method invites ‘umbrella manifestations’. If you want a relationship that will help you feel loved, all areas of your life will change to accommodate your new frequency. All relationships and patterns that don’t align with it will transform or fall away. It’s an in-depth transformation in which you can’t change one area of your life without changing everything else. So if you’re not prepared for a deep, intense, obnoxious transformation, then don’t do this method.
- This method forces you to attune to yourself and your authentic needs, desires, thoughts, beliefs and values. It’s not intellectual in nature because you aren’t pursuing physical goals but rather emotional ones. It will be impossible for you to be disconnected from yourself and still use this method. You have to be hyperaware of yourself to know what an activity, thought, word, place, person, thing, etc, does to you emotionally.
- This method requires you to be hyperaware of yourself, which can be terrifying for someone who hasn’t worked with themselves for a long time. Inauthentic behaviours will be impossible to sustain. Any coping mechanisms you have will cease to work in favour of meeting your needs directly (as opposed to overtly).
- This method may seem counterintuitive at times because it goes against everything that you’ve been taught to believe about how the world works. You will say no to profitable opportunities if it is an energetic contradiction. You will appear to move slower than the rest of the world because most of your energy goes to the energy fueling an action, not the action in and of itself.
As previously mentioned, if you are not ready for this, then please wait until you are before you try this method. Because it will be intense, and it will be an in-depth transformation in all areas of your life.

Energetic Contradictions
Energetic contradiction is when you try to manifest something while your actions/thoughts manifest the opposite.
Here are some common examples:
- Working a job that haves you feeling trapped in order to gain financial freedom
- Trying to punish your body (through deprivation and exercise you don’t enjoy) into a body that you love and feel confident in.
- Betraying and sacrificing your own needs for a relationship in which your needs are prioritised
Do you see the problem?
The action’s emotional signature is in direct opposition to the wish fulfilled.
Allow this to be a relief.
- You don’t need to punish yourself into a body you love.
- You don’t need to feel trapped to gain freedom.
- You don’t need to betray yourself to gain affection.
In fact, it’s an energetic impossibility.
If it does not feel good, there’s an energetic contradiction between what you desire and what you’re doing.
That being said, I’m not telling you to jump ship the moment something feels uncomfortable.
Just because an action feels wrong doesn’t mean it is—it could also be your attitude, beliefs, or assumptions that are out of alignment, not the action itself.
Suppose something is uncomfortable, and your immidiate reaction is to avoid, push away or ignore your painful emotions. In that case, it will only create more resistance.
When one part of you wants something and another doesn’t, it creates resistance. Again, Don’t resist resistance; that’s an energetic contradiction to releasing it.

Following Joy Is A Shortcut To Manifestation
The Technique is simple – But It Takes Effort To Actually Apply It
You’ll find that the following principles will appear to be stupidly simple.
Because they are simple.
But one thing I’ve found is how much effort it takes to decondition how we’re taught to make decisions and how we’re supposed to think in favour of this technique.
So yes, know that the technique is simple. But prepare yourself to have to put in a lot of effort in actually applying it in your life.
The signature method is the following:
- Manifest through actions by pursuing choices that aligns you with the emotion (emotional ‘signature’) of your wish fulfilled.
Aka: If you want financial abundance, and the emotional signature of abundance is ‘freedom’ to you, then make decisions that aligns you with the feeling of ‘freedom’.
And yes, this means working a job that has you feeling trapped is an energetic contradiction to your wish fulfilled.
Why The Signature Method?
I’m sure you’ve heard that to manifest, you must attune to a feeling of already having fulfilled your wish.
The exact same principle goes for taking action.
- Identify the emotional signature of your wish fulfilled. If you want financial success, perhaps the emotional signature is ‘freedom’ or ‘peace. If so, learn to recognise that feeling in your everyday life. The choices that sturs the emotional signature of freedom or peace are the actions that will inevitably manifest your wish fullfilled, because they have the same energetic signature.
- The more you make decisions in your desired emotional signature, the more opportunities will manifest for you with a similar emotional signature (including your wish fulfilled). You are manifesting through action.
- Your emotions reflect your mental landscape. When you meet your needs directly now, and attune to the emotional signature (and lifestyle) of your wish fulfilled, you discover hidden beliefs that would have resisted your manifestation, and you also learn to release resistance against your current circumstance.
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE: Nadia Is Manifesting A Relationship
Nadia wants a relationship. She identifies the emotional signature of this desire, and discovers that she desires to feel loved, connected, and desirable.
If Nadia decided to manifest a partner through the signature method, she’d make more decisions in her everyday life that would help her feel more loved, connected and desirable.
Perhaps she practices forms of self-love, she starts communicating more openly with friends and family and reaches out more to feel connected, and she dresses in ways that make her feel desireable.
The more she moves in the direction of her desired emotional signatures, the more opportunities manifest for her to feel it. More friends come into her life, she feels seen by the people around her, she feels beautiful – and she attracts more reasons for her to feel thease things.
But as she pursues choices that help her feel more connected, she encounters resistance: hidden beliefs about her worthiness, beliefs about what she deserves – and she also discovers many roadblocks teaching her how she wants to be loved, and how she can love others more.
Nadia is kind to herself, and gently works through her resistance. She reforms the old beliefs, meets her needs directly and heals trauma that would have prevented her from having a healthy relationship in the future.
And because she already feels more loved, connected and desirable in her everyday life, she isn’t resisting her current reality and desperately searching for a partner to meet her unfulfilled needs. This makes it easier to manifest since she comes from a place of alignment, not deprivation.
So when she manifests that relationship – it feels organic, natural. Because it’s in perfect alignment with her emotional signature.
The Signature Method Manifests Your Actual Desired Lifestyle: Not Just One-Time Milestones
When you follow the emotional signature of your wish fulfilled, you will invariably manifest your desired life and align with the underlying need and emotional signature in all areas of life.
Like in the example above; Nadia didn’t “just” get a partner, she found ways to meet her need for love, connection and intimacy met in all areas of her life.
She deconstructed limiting beliefs that kept her from meeting her needs in her current circumstance in order to manifest, which will help you so much more in the long run than simply affirming.

Step By Step: How to Do The Signature Method
1. Identify the emotional signature of your wish fulfilled
Envision the goal, and delve deeper into the sensations of the goal (or script it if you have trouble visualising). Vision means the idea of a goal rather than its visualisation.
Ask yourself the following questions:
- What is my ideal lifestyle?
- What do I want?
- How would my ideal lifestyle make me feel?
- How would I feel if I had already achieved my goals?
- How can I seek that emotional signature in my current life?
- Is there anything blocking me from feeling this way? How and why is it blocking me? How can I work to release this blockage?
If you aren’t sure about what you want to achieve – then focus on a general sense of joy when taking action. Because if you do, you’ll attract more people, places and things that inspires joy in you.
And if you want to know what you want, then remember that you can manifest knowledge, ideas and thoughts as well. Simply shift into the mindset of ‘someone who knows what they want’ and follow the emotional signature in this as well.
2. Pursue the Emotional Signature – not the logical route.
Before making a decision, ask yourself what choice would bring you closer to the emotional signature of the wish fulfilled – not just the most logical, straightforward route.
If a decision or thought makes you uncomfortable, then work through resistance first and identify the core thoughts and beliefs behind that feeling. Once you’ve identified why something brings you discomfort, ask yourself:
- How can you pursue the goal while still meeting your needs directly?
- How can you adapt the plan so that you meet all your needs while still pursuing the goal?
- Is the action an energetic contradiction to getting what you want? Then what action (even if it seems unrelated to your goal) would be in alignment with your desired emotional signature?
3. Make decisions that helps you get into the emotional state of your wish fulfilled now to the best of your ability.
This means that if you want to be ‘a productive person’ your focus must be on appritiating it when you do a good job.
Because when you feel productive, you will become productive (see the bottom of the blogpost titled How to manifest goals you actually want to achieve for a method that helps with this).
It also means identity shifting – to shift into a version of yourself that has already achieved your dream life by getting energetically (emotionally) closer to them.
If your ideal self is financially abundant, then how can you soothe your anxieties about money right now to move closer to a state of abundance?
4. Look for the signs.
Look for smaller manifestations that aren’t your wish fulfilled, but that reminds you of the emotional signature of your wish fulfilled.
If you want a romantic partner, then you may start manifesting situations where you feel appritiated, loved, considered, held or desireable.
If you desire academic achievement, look out for small things that have you feeling accomplished, smart, proud, knowledgeable, etc.
These are signs that you are manifesting the emotional state of your wish fulfilled, which means you are aligning to recieve it.
